the "winter mittens" as ashley yousling from making magazine (and woolful) called them and we love that name. this design was made with a traditional scandinavian feeling in mind, mixed with rustic simplicity. and they match the biches & bûches sweater no. 1 !

techniques : knit with double-pointed needles + knit stitch + slip stitch + fair-isle + changing colour + 3-needle cast off
construction :Â the mittens are knit in the round, from the cuff up to the fingers, worked one color at a time, with a piece of fair-isle knitting only at the cuffs.

medium : 11 cm wide
large : 12,5 cm wide
the length is adjusted individually, according to your fingers !
