Paper Fluff 4ply - Undyed
- Yarn Notes
- Yarn Specs
-
This super interesting yarn is made up of three strands: Two strands brushed fluffy mixture of superfine alpaca, wool and Tencel AND the third strand which is wrapped around the other two is a high strength wood pulp paper.
Interesting all on its own, but if you're planning on dying it, we suggest acid dyes.
The paper takes dye very lightly, which adds a great contrast to the fluffy yarn.
If you're natural dying, use a tannin and then alum mordant as both fibres will take the dyes slightly differently. Â
This yarn makes a lovely light fabric with a gentle halo. Gorgeous woven up too! -
