Virginia Sweater Kit
Designed by Helga Isager, Virginia wasĀ inspired by the earthy colours and loose silhouettes from the wardrobe of Virginia Wolf (Nicole Kidman) in the movie āThe Hoursā from 2002.
CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is knitted in Isager MerilinĀ or Isager Tweed,Ā withĀ Isager Silk MohairĀ (one strand of each held together) and is worked from the bottom up in the round. The sweater has a simple SlipĀ Stitch pattern with Stockinette stitch sections worked in Jensen YarnĀ alone. The slip stitch technique is an easy way to create colourwork while only needing to handle a single colour at a time.
